Got 4 more letters from DJ today. It is not going so well for him. Besides the shoulder he is sick with bronchitis or pneumonia and someone stole his shoes. The SEP division he is in is about 120 people. He said about half are being discharged for medical reasons and the other half for legal reasons. He said the legal half keep causing problems for everyone. They snuck abunch of dip and a bottle of vodka in somehow and the whole division lost their phone priveleges and the TV. So all they have to do is sleep and write letters. He has met a few friends and they hang around if they can.
And I got me another kitty kat tonight. We went to the pound and got a little 8 wk old black and white kitty. We have named him Harley. We will wait until Saturday to introduce Shadow to him, but I have faith that Shadow will be a good big brother for him. I will post a picture of him this weekend.

When DJ comes home for surgery, does he get well and go back in or does he get discharged? Poor baby. I bet you are so worried about him.

They are discharging him. They said he is "broke goods". The Navy says it will never be 100% again, but I am hoping they are wrong. If they are wrong, they will let him rejoin in a year and a half if it is completely healed.
